Duplicate on view change setting?

There is an option on the Settings dialog ( https://support.sentimentcast.com/images/28.html?fromGalleryId=2 ) named "Duplicate on view change setting".
What does it do?

When you click and change the sentiment in the table, the sentiment of the selected view is changed.

When you enable "Duplicate view on sentiment change" setting, the view is duplicated. The old view is moved to your archive.

This is handy when you want to quickly change the sentiment, but you want to keep your old view.
